Be aware of recent text message scams. We want you to be aware that we have recently received several reports of fraudulent text messages being sent on behalf of pastors, asking for purchases of various gift cards. The messages originate from phone numbers that are not associated with the victim. Do not reply to such messages and alert your staff and parishioners to ignore any such messages.
